I never grew up with a deep faith—my childhood in a lukewarm, nominally Christian UK household left me searching. As a young adult, I embraced a party lifestyle and soon plunged into the world of New Age spirituality. I explored yoga and meditation, became immersed in practices like raiki healing, studied cabala and astrology, and even experimented with shamanic rituals and ayahuasca. Yet despite the euphoria and false promises these paths offered, I eventually felt an empty void that no ritual or esoteric teaching could fill. In a dramatic turning point, my desperate quest for truth led me to the Bible and a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ. In submitting to His word and repenting, I experienced an undeniable transformation—a renewal that replaced counterfeit spiritual answers with the eternal hope and peace found in Him.
