Summary

I was once lost in the grip of addiction—facing felonies, homelessness, and despair. Then, by God’s mercy, I turned my life around. I surrendered to Jesus, and one day I received a clear message: I had the perfect match to donate my kidney to the very police officer who had arrested me in my darker days. That divine orchestration not only saved a life but ignited a transformation in my own. Today, I use my story to encourage others to trust God with their broken lives. I’m working passionately with The Place of Grace ministry to help others overcome their struggles and experience God’s miraculous intervention.

Episode 78: Police Officer Life is Saved By Most Unexpected Gift – Guest Joceylnn James Edmonds

Jocelynn realized something had to change when she saw herself on television in a “Most Wanted” report. Sixteen felonies, a drug addiction, multiple crimes to sustain it, the lies, homeless and tired of fighting, she called the police department and turned herself in. It was a process, but she submitted her life to Jesus and was delivered. In the years to come God would call her to serve in so many ways, including the donation of her kidney to one of the officers who arrested her on 3 different occasions.

In this episode Jocelynn shares:
-The heartache of those darker days, and her path to recovery.
-How God told her she would have a facility for helping others get set free from addiction.
-The day she clearly heard God tell her that she had the officer’s kidney, how it was such a perfect match that the hospital assumed she was his daughter, that it was in excellent condition, and it set a record for most urine output after transplant!
-The beautiful way God blessed her in how she would share the news of the kidney donation with her children (God is in the details).
-The Place for Grace ministry and how God is opening doors and providing in miraculous ways.
-Her encouraging message for those listening who are struggling with addiction.
-A fundraiser ending 10/20/2021 where you can donate $100 and get a chance to win a car
-I pray a blessing over our listeners and we give God the glory for who He is and how He loves us.

“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” – Acts 20:35 NIV
