Summary

My name is Jordan Schmidt, and I’m here to share my personal journey of how Jesus Christ rescued me from a life of addiction. For about 10 years, I battled drugs, alcohol, and pornography—enslaved by what people thought of me. I grew up attending church because of my mother, but I didn’t truly understand a relationship with God until later. Through countless struggles, job instability, and broken relationships, I hit rock bottom. Eventually, I turned to alcoholics anonymous, where I found honesty, accountability, and a path back to God. With daily meetings, the life recovery steps, and a renewed trust in Jesus, I now stand over two and a half years sober, blessed with a loving wife, restored family relationships, and a new purpose in life. I am forever grateful for the freedom and new life I have received through Him.
