I grew up attending a Presbyterian church, immersed in routine worship and youth activities, yet I never truly understood what it meant to be born again. As a teenager, I began questioning my faith and eventually stopped going to church. My life took a dark turn during my university years when the fun of partying led to depression and emotional numbness. In desperation, my mother arranged for me to see a healer from Sri Lanka—a session that opened my eyes to the possibilities of New Age spirituality. Drawn into a world of energy work, Eastern mysticism, and occult rituals, I followed a charismatic guru who promised enlightenment. At first, I experienced brief moments of liberation and even witnessed miraculous signs, but soon I realized that these supernatural experiences were deceptive and left me spiritually oppressed. When I finally prayed to Jesus with all my heart, everything changed. That prayer broke the spell over my life and ushered in a transformation where I could experience true healing, restoration, and freedom. Now, I feel compelled to warn others about the dangers of false supernatural practices and to encourage everyone to pursue a genuine, personal relationship with Jesus for lasting transformation.
