Summary

I grew up in New Orleans amid the clash between the deep-rooted traditions of Catholicism and unsettling occult practices. My early life was marked by mysterious seances that unknowingly opened spiritual doors, setting the stage for heartbreak. Then came the unthinkable: a home invasion where a serial rapist brutally assaulted me twice, leaving me shattered and questioning God’s purpose. In the chaos that followed, I called 911, received help at the hospital, and was forced to confront the pain head-on. Despite the overwhelming agony and anger, God’s word broke through my despair and led me on a journey of healing. With the support of my husband and church community, I embraced a new chapter by fostering and eventually adopting a child, proving that through God’s grace, even the deepest wounds can lead to transformation and a hopeful new beginning.
