Summary

I am Yesenia Patti Romero. I grew up in a turbulent home—my mother once took us to a Pentecostal church until her father’s passing, after which she fell into a deep darkness and became abusive. I experienced early abuse, abandonment, and was driven into risky behaviors like smoking, drinking, and early sexual encounters. The tragic loss of my father, who was murdered under violent circumstances, shattered my world and led me into cycles of toxic relationships and even stripping. In the midst of this brokenness, a caring friend and a pastor reached out to me. I returned to church, surrendered my life to Jesus, and through prayer, counseling, and the undeniable work of the Holy Spirit, God gave me a second chance. Today, I lead a women’s ministry and testify that no matter how shattered our lives may be, God can restore every broken piece.
