Summary

My name is Alejandro Acevedo. I grew up in a once-stable family until drugs tore us apart. At a very young age, I started shoplifting and was drawn into a life of crime—selling drugs, robbing, and facing violent encounters. My life spiraled until I was arrested and faced a lengthy prison sentence. In jail, through Bible studies and sincere prayer, I encountered God’s mercy. I surrendered my rebellious ways, accepted responsibility, and experienced a radical transformation. This turning point led me to lead Bible studies in prison, reconnect with my family, meet my wife online, and even pursue a new career as a firefighter while starting my own glass business. I share my story to show that no matter how far we fall, Jesus can rescue and redeem us.
