I grew up in a home where the struggle to preserve faith amid post-Soviet chaos was real. Although I was raised within a Christian framework, I was drawn to New Age practices—exploring yoga, tarot, meditation, and occult philosophies—in a desperate search for meaning and control. Over time, the allure of these practices turned dark and left me entangled in deception and overwhelming anxiety. One night, during an intense spell of sleep paralysis, I called out to Jesus. In that pivotal moment, His truth broke through the confusion, delivering me from spiritual bondage. Today, I live in the light of Christ, who restored my heart, redefined my understanding of truth, and continues to guide me through every valley. I share my story to warn and encourage others who may be caught in similar deceptions to turn to the unfailing love and power of Jesus.
