Summary

I was four years old when my parents separated and, although I was surrounded by love from my mom and grandparents, I longed for a father. I envied my classmates who had both parents and, as I grew older, the pain deepened when I discovered my father’s infidelity – even one of his mistresses was nearly my age. Overwhelmed by anger, hatred, and bitterness, I turned away from God and allowed that pain to control my life, even hurting those close to me. Through the gentle invitation of a college friend and the support of a small group at Christ’s Commission Fellowship, I began to experience God’s healing touch. I surrendered my anger and, with His help, forgave my father. This breakthrough restored not only my relationship with him but also healed my wounded heart and reconciled my family. Today, I stand free from rage and bitterness, testifying that God’s love and forgiveness have transformed my life.
