Summary

I grew up in a mostly secular household with only a faint echo of Christian and Catholic influences. My early years were marked by instability, poverty, and painful experiences in school—including relentless bullying due to my appearance and speech impediment. As I entered my teenage years, the isolation and rejection drove me toward a worldview based solely on logic and self-reliance. I embraced atheism and even dived into transhumanist ideas as a way to overcome the inevitability of death. However, during college, I met a friend whose own profound journey challenged my hardened beliefs. His testimony, combined with unexpected answered prayers and a deep inner longing for something more, ignited a turning point in my life. I began to question the meaning of power and control and eventually encountered the truth in Jesus Christ. After being baptized and experiencing an overwhelming wave of peace, I rejected all the dark philosophies of my past. Now, my life is centered on the hope, restoration, and unconditional love that only Jesus can provide.
