I wasn’t raised in a home where genuine faith was lived out—church was more a routine than a heartfelt pursuit. After my parents separated and we moved from Toronto to Prince Edward Island, I felt an emptiness I couldn’t ignore. In my desperate search for meaning, I delved into every available spiritual path: I experimented with paganism, dabbled in witchcraft, and even practiced ceremonial magic using my own blood in dark rituals. The occult promised power, yet its terrifying practices and the demonic entities I encountered only deepened my despair. Then, one overwhelming day, when I was on the brink of destruction, I cried out for help. In that life‐changing moment, Jesus Christ revealed Himself to me and broke through the darkness. I left behind all that destructive occultism, enrolled in Bible College, and began living a life defined by prayer, biblical truth, and transformation. I share my story so that anyone caught in the grip of darkness may see that if you’re still breathing, there is always hope in Jesus.
