Storms can be scary, so when the disciples found Jesus fast asleep in their boat during a terrible storm, they were very upset. Did He not care that they were in danger? The truth was that Jesus could sleep because He was the master of the storm! They were safe because Jesus was in their boat.

The good news is that Jesus is with us. When we are going through a diffcult time or situation, we can smile at the “storm” and say, “Peace. Jesus is with me. He is in control. Everything will be alright. Let my heart not be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Memory verse: John 14:27
