Maris’ story is one of the most powerful testimonies of redemption, forgiveness, family restoration and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

As a child, Maris was bounced around the care system and grew up feeling unwanted. He didn’t know his dad. His painful upbringing left deep wounds, and by just 10 years old, Maris had already been arrested.

As he grew older, his life spiralled into violence, crime, drugs and prison.

He tried to find satisfaction through money, women, cars, drugs and dealing, but nothing could fill the emptiness inside.

He became a major cannabis dealer and spent multiple stretches in prison because of violence and drug dealing.

But his story became even more dangerous.

😱 ROBBED, KIDNAPPED & HELD AT GUNPOINT

Maris also experienced the terrifying reality of being robbed, kidnapped and held at gunpoint. 🔫

His life had become a constant battle for survival.

He was hurting people because, as he explains, he was hurting inside himself.

The violence, drugs, money and lifestyle couldn’t satisfy him.

And then came one of the darkest moments of all…

Maris nearly died from an overdose in a garage.

His life could have ended there.

But God had another plan.

Maris was preparing to marry his long-term girlfriend, Summer, a lovely woman who believes in God. ❤️💍

After Maris encountered God, he knew it was right for him and Summer to get married.

Then something unbelievable happened.

Maris’ dad flew from America to England to attend his son’s wedding.

And the ticket was paid for by his dad’s friend.

After years of separation…

After years of not knowing each other…

After years of prayer…

Maris finally met his dad face-to-face. 😭❤️

Only God could orchestrate something like this.
