For several years, the people of northern Mozambique have endured relentless attrition from Islamic State.

Rafael was 15 and living with his family in the far north when his brother was shot and killed in the street by Islamists. Like many others, Rafael and his family were forced to run, taking only what they could carry.

Thankfully, Rafael and his family found safety and support through Pastor Gabriel’s church in a settlement further south for displaced families, which strengthened his faith. However, in a remote settlement, believers struggle to find work and feed their families. Barnabas Aid is working to help displaced Christians like Rafael to thrive by meeting their long-term needs through sustainable farming initiatives.

(Acts 8: 1,4,8)
