This is the most interactive and fascinating presentation about Golden Eagles for kids! Have you ever wondered what it’s like to stand just a few feet away from one of the world’s most powerful birds of prey? In this video, we head up into the mountains to meet two very special guests: Allie, an expert volunteer from the Great Basin Wildlife Rescue, and Sundance, a real, live, Golden Eagle! This video features the best clips and presentation highlights as Allie shares incredible facts about Golden Eagles, their wingspan, hunting skills, food preferences, that these amazing birds mate for life, have incredible vision, but hardly smell! We get up close to see their impressive talons, and even compare them with a vulture and turkey vulture We were shocked to learn that while they look massive, male golden eagles often weigh less than 10 pounds, while females grow even larger!

This Kid Hub Fit adventure is a little different from our usual educational videos, but it was an unforgettable chance to get up close with wildlife. Join Aurie, Zane, Brian, Baby Jax, and Shayla as we discover jaw-dropping bird of prey facts, and see why Golden Eagles are some of the most magnificent creatures in the sky. If you love animal encounters, nature education, the wilderness, or family adventures, you won’t want to miss this episode!

Huge thank you to Allie Leavitt with Great Basin Wildlife Rescue for sharing all of her knowledge so kids and families can learn from her expertise! Also, Emma Martineau for her work behind the scenes!
