HQ sends Gadget to be recertified as an agent after his return from retirement. Dr. Claw sees this as an opportunity to infiltrate the testing facility and eliminate Gadget! Penny is excited by the chance to test for her Senior Junior Agent status, and Talon, disguised as notoriously difficult tester José Noé, happily lets her take the “test” along with Gadget. Brain senses something is off but Penny, too excited about the test, brushes him off. Talon traps Brain and hides him away with the real José Noé as Gadget and Penny fail their way through the rigged tests, Brain and José work together to break out of their jail cell and save the others. They make it out just as Gadget and Penny face their final “test”, a MAD mech robot. Gadget destroys the bot, and the testing facility, while trying to get Brain to apologize for interrupting the test. Talon flees, having failed his mission once again. Even though Gadget didn’t technically take a test, the real José agrees to recertify him so Gadget never visits, and destroys, the facility again! // Claw decides to raise a new “on-brand” army of animals with claws, using his Intelli-Hancer devices. He sends Talon to Gator ‘Verse, Florida, to install the first round of intelli-hancers on the alligators there. When the Gadget gang arrives in Gator ‘Verse to stop MAD, Gadget mistakes a teen in a gator mascot costume for an intelli-hanced alligator and chases him down. They then come across a group of non-enhanced alligators but, believing them to be intelligent, Gadget tries to engage in a cultural exchange. Penny catches Talon, and when he tries to get the actual intelli-hanced gators to attack, he discovers they aren’t yet smart enough to understand his commands. Unfortunately, when he increases their IQ, the gators get too smart and turn on Talon to gain control of his device! Penny and Talon are forced to work together to fight off the gators, who manage to disable Talon’s jet boots, Penny’s Codex, and hack into the Gadget-mobile as they try to flee. They run into Gadget, who is still trying to converse with the regular gators. Upon seeing Penny and Talon bickering, and Gadget mistaking the mascot for a real alligator, the intelli-hanced gators decide humans aren’t smart enough to be worth it, and blast off into space and wonders unknown.
