From Atheist to Christianity
Summary
My name is Chad Davidson, and I grew up with a false belief that being a ‘good Republican kid’ equaled Christianity, even though I barely set foot in church. By high school, I was heavily drinking and using steroids, which led me down a path of anger and emptiness. After seeing hypocrisy in church peers who partied on Saturday night then raised their hands in worship on Sunday, I embraced atheism and rejected God entirely. Yet through a friend’s invitation to watch the documentary ‘Expelled’ and later the film ‘They Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll,’ I realized I had believed Satanic lies. More importantly, I recognized the real truth of God’s Word and that Jesus died for my sins. I fully surrendered, threw out my old music, and stepped into faith. As I studied the Bible, Pastor Joe Schimmel at Blessed Hope Chapel discipled me in evangelism and grounded me in Scripture. Today, I’m blessed with a wife, a family, and a new life dedicated to Christ. I’ve shared my journey in my book ‘Wrestling with Discipleship,’ hoping others will embrace genuine faith and true discipleship in Jesus.

Note from Doreen: I have had comments turned off of all my videos since 2009 because I don’t have an assistant or moderator, and my schedule is extremely busy.
