He grew up in a broken home with nobody watching where he was going or what he was doing. By high school he was sneaking off campus for liquid lunches and coming back drunk. Then on a flight home from Sweden God stopped him at thirty thousand feet over the Atlantic Ocean with one verse and he has never been the same.

Since then Gary Smith has helped plant several hundred churches across Canada, New England, Cuba, and Western Africa. He has watched a woman whose organs were shutting down walk out of his office completely healed. He has prayed against spirits being called into a tent full of children and watched everything go silent. He has walked through Salem Massachusetts in the middle of active witchcraft territory handing out flyers for Jesus.
In this episode Gary and Karla talk about what spiritual warfare actually looks like on the ground, principalities that sit over regions, the spirit of religion, and why the supernatural gifts of the early church never stopped.

About Deliverance Diaries

At Deliverance Diaries, our mission is to exalt Jesus Christ by sharing powerful stories of His ability to save, heal, deliver, and transform lives. Each episode highlights individuals whose testimonies reveal God’s grace breaking through in ways that often defy expectation.

We are committed to presenting these stories with integrity, while encouraging you to receive them with prayerful discernment. The experiences shared are personal to each guest and may not always align perfectly with the doctrinal position of Deliverance Diaries or Karla Callan Ministries.

Because these testimonies deal with real struggles and spiritual battles, some accounts may be emotionally heavy or mature in nature. We encourage listener discretion.

We believe that every testimony is a declaration of God’s victory—and every story lifts the name of Jesus higher!
