Gather around the campfire with The Good News Guys and their families for a peaceful acoustic version of the beloved Christian song “Kumbaya,” from the album Parables of Praise. 🎶🔥

Kumbaya means “come by here”—a simple prayer asking the Lord to come near. Inspired by James 4:8, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you,” this warm Christian music video encourages children and families to pray, worship God, seek Jesus, and draw closer to Him.

Filmed around a campfire with the Good News Guys families, this gentle Christian song for kids creates a peaceful moment for children to sing along and remember that we can call upon God in prayer. Our prayer is that everyone watching will draw near to Jesus Christ, experience His love, and grow in their faith.

Perfect for bedtime, family worship, Sunday School, kids church, Christian preschool, homeschool, family devotions, children’s ministry, prayer time, and quiet worship, “Kumbaya” is a beautiful song for the whole family.
