Through a closer look at shepherds and their sheep, our children learn that being a shepherd wasn’t just watching the flock from a distance but loving the sheep and giving them round-the-clock care. The shepherd lives with his sheep, protects them from harm and ensures they have everything they need to thrive!

In this lesson, we share the powerful and comforting truth that Jesus is our good shepherd and we are His precious sheep. The more we realise how deeply Jesus, our good shepherd, loves and cares for us, the more we can truly rest. We don’t have to worry or be afraid because He is with us and we are never alone. Because Jesus is our good shepherd, we can also go to Him for everything we need!
