Unlock the hardest words of Jesus with a homicide detective’s toolkit. 🕵️♂️✝️
In this episode, I investigate 5 of the most difficult verses in the Gospels—statements like “hate your father and mother,” “let the dead bury their own dead,” and “eat my flesh, drink my blood.” Are these red flags… or reasonable once you examine the evidence?
Using investigative principles from my career as a cold-case detective, we’ll look at context, language, corroborating accounts, and Jesus’ overall pattern of behavior to see if these “problem passages” actually undermine or strengthen the case for Christianity.
