When Derrick was first born, the flew him on an emergency flight to the hospital in Edmonton, telling his parents “if Derrick lives, he will be severely disabled and handicapped.” Derrick’s Father went and made a covenant with God in the local hospital’s men’s restroom saying, “God if you give me this baby back, I will commit him to You.” Not long after, the medical staff conceded to the miracle that had taken place saying “we don’t know what else to say but Derrick is completely healthy and fine.”
