Summary

I grew up in a Christian family, yet for many years I felt trapped in a box of deep self-hatred and overwhelming depression. I experienced extreme emotional pain and at one point even planned to end my life. During a particularly rough time at a family reunion near Edmonton, I picked up my Bible and began reading Proverbs. In that moment, I heard God’s voice affirming my worth and promising a future filled with hope. That breakthrough transformed my life, freeing me from the chains of depression and helping me rediscover my identity in Christ. I share my story to encourage anyone struggling with similar pain to trust in God’s love and experience true healing.
