LYRICS:
[But they’re picking on me]
[I don’t want to just sit around I want to get them back]
[But I know Jesus taught me better]
[What if I show them love and see what happens]

VERSE
I don’t like these feelings
[When I’m angry and I’m hurt and I’m sad at the same time]
It’s my joy they’re stealing
[I want to do what’s right but what about an eye for an eye]

Torn up inside, I gotta do what’s right
Love them more than ever
Cause I don’t know what’s going on in their life
And hate’s not the answer

PRE CHORUS
[L – O – give me a V – give me an E]
[Like Jesus loves me]

CHORUS
Love is like a boomerang
Throw it up – up it’ll come back around, yeah
Love is like a boomerang
Rise above – bove, spin it, send it back around, yeah

Let your anger go
Let your neighbor know
Love will lift you off the ground, yeah
Love is like a boomerang
Throw it up – up it’ll come back around, yeah

[I feel so much better]
[Love is the answer]
[I’m gonna do this every time]

VERSE 2
I’m gonna choose to love you
[I’m gonna gonna gonna choose]
Gonna let love pave the way
[pave the way]
I’m gonna choose to love you
[I’m gonna gonna gonna choose]
No matter what comes my way

CHORUS
Love is like a boomerang
Throw it up – up it’ll come back around, yeah
Love is like a boomerang
Rise above – bove, spin it, send it back around, yeah

Let your anger go
Let your neighbor know
Love will lift you off the ground, yeah
Love is like a boomerang
Throw it up – up it’ll come back around, yeah

OUTRO
I’m gonna choose to love you
[I’m gonna gonna gonna choose]
Gonna let love pave the way
[pave the way]
I’m gonna choose to love you
[I’m gonna gonna gonna choose]
No matter what comes my way
