The Bible tells us that we have a hope that is as an anchor of our soul. What does this mean? Just as an actual anchor secures a boat from drifting and smashing against the rocks, we have a hope that secures and steadies us when things get stormy in our heads and hearts.

We share with your children that when King Jehoshaphat was very afraid, he immediately turned to the Lord for help. This anchored him so securely that he marched into battle with praise and worship leading the way!

As God’s beloved children, we don’t have to carry the weight of the storm alone for we have a hope that is both sure and steadfast. Jesus is our anchor! Whenever worry or fear creeps in, we can fix your eyes on Him and say, “I don’t know what to do. I’m looking to You!”
