After flipping eight times down a pitch-black mountain road, Kayla had 15 minutes to live — and then a glowing woman appeared at her shattered window. Kayla Pettis was 18 years old when the car she was riding in launched off the Historic Columbia River Highway near Multnomah Falls and rolled eight times in the dead of night. Her leg was severed by the door. Her spleen was punctured. The driver wasn’t breathing. She was bleeding out on a road no one travels after dark — until a calm voice told her to “Sit back”, and a woman who looked like she was glowing walked up to her window. Doctors said Kayla would never walk again. Three days after a group of believers laid hands on her and prayed for her leg, she moved her toes.

This is the story of how God used the worst night of Kayla’s life to save it — and how He’s still in the business of rescuing people from the impossible.

If you need to be reminded that God still moves in the middle of crisis, this story is for you.
