Lynne’s journey of faith began in an unexpected way—through disappointment at not receiving her attendance badge at Girls’ Brigade, which led her to start attending Sunday School.
There, she was shocked by what she heard—that it was possible to know you were going to heaven, even to say you were a Christian. To her, it felt almost arrogant. She believed you had to be “good enough” to earn acceptance.
Over time, Lynne discovered something life-changing: the freedom and joy of being accepted by grace, not by works.
A near-drowning experience brought her to a deep and lasting assurance of faith. And though life has included both family and personal pain, her trust in God has remained firm.
Lynne finds comfort in the story of Joseph—”You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.” Even when life doesn’t make sense, she holds onto the truth that God has a plan.
This is a story of grace, assurance, and trust in God’s purpose through every season.
