An Afrikaner tells his own story: from hatred to healing, from apartheid to love, from fear to faith. Born into prejudice, young Gerrit Wolfaardt had been raised—by his family, his church, and his culture—to believe that apartheid (separateness) was right an natural. But his ideology was challenged by a pretty young woman, who later became his wife.

Today the Wolfaardt family lives in Colorado with their three children.
