From the Rabbinic religion to faith in the Jewish Messiah, the testimony of our Moti Vaknin!
Summary
My name is Moti Vaknin. I was raised in a strict Rabbinic tradition and faced severe rejection and even threats from my own family because of my emerging belief in Jesus-Yeshua as the Jewish Messiah. I was told I no longer belonged to the people and was even threatened with violence if I showed my face. In search of a place where I could freely explore my faith, I moved to New York, where I worked as a kosher supervisor. However, my journey wasn’t easy; I encountered further hostility and was forced to confront the deep-seated traditions that once defined me. Through reading the Scriptures—especially the New Testament—I experienced a profound awakening. I realized that true life and restoration come only through Jesus. Today, I stand as a living testimony to how God’s transforming power restored my heart and gave me new hope, despite the pain and rejection I endured.
