Mt. Sinai: Mountain of God on Trial

For over 1,500 years, Christians, Jews, and pilgrims have pointed to Jebel Musa (Mt. Moses) in Egypt as the biblical Mount Sinai. But what if history remembered the wrong mountain?

Court is now in session.

In this feature-length ProverbsGuys documentary, we place the evidence on trial. Rather than beginning with assumptions or traditions, we examine the historical record, archaeological discoveries, biblical text, and geographical clues to investigate one of Christianity’s greatest mysteries:

Where is the real Mountain of God?

Together we’ll examine:

🏛️ Case File #1: Jebel Musa (Egypt)

* Why it became the traditional Mount Sinai
* Constantine’s mother, Helena, and the birth of the tradition
* The history of St. Catherine’s Monastery
* Archaeological evidence supporting the site
* The strengths—and weaknesses—of the traditional view

🏜️ Case File #2: Jabal al-Lawz (Saudi Arabia)

* The evidence presented by explorers and researchers
* Claims made by Ron Wyatt and others
* Archaeological discoveries surrounding the mountain
* Biblical arguments for locating Sinai in Arabia
* The major criticisms of this theory

📖 The Biblical Evidence
Instead of relying solely on tradition, we’ll allow Scripture itself to testify. Every major biblical clue regarding Mount Sinai’s location is carefully examined—from the Exodus journey and Elijah’s travels to Paul’s statement that “Mount Sinai is in Arabia.”

⚖️ The Verdict
After hearing every witness and reviewing every exhibit, the final decision is placed where it belongs—in your hands. This documentary isn’t about telling you what to believe. It’s about presenting the strongest evidence from both sides so you can reach an informed conclusion.

Whether you’re convinced Sinai is in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or you’re still undecided, this investigation will challenge assumptions, explore overlooked evidence, and encourage you to examine the Scriptures for yourself.

The prosecution has rested.
The defense has spoken.
Now the jury deliberates.
