A Demon Walked Into His Room and Made Him an Offer | Tawhiri LittleJohn

He grew up in the jungles of New Zealand no electricity, no running water a Maori warrior raised to see the spirit world before the natural world. By his 30s, Tawhiri Matea was one of the most in-demand session drummers in the country, touring for 14 years, playing to thousands.

Then Jesus walked into his room and said follow me.

Tawhiri said no.

And when he did a demon stepped forward with a counteroffer. Fame. Money. Everything he wanted. And heaven too.

But Jesus didn’t leave. And that night, everything changed.

What followed was one of the most extraordinary testimonies we’ve ever heard drug houses shut down, a man woke up from a coma, and an entire community was transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

About Deliverance Diaries

At Deliverance Diaries, our mission is to exalt Jesus Christ by sharing powerful stories of His ability to save, heal, deliver, and transform lives. Each episode highlights individuals whose testimonies reveal God’s grace breaking through in ways that often defy expectation.

We are committed to presenting these stories with integrity, while encouraging you to receive them with prayerful discernment. The experiences shared are personal to each guest and may not always align perfectly with the doctrinal position of Deliverance Diaries or Karla Callan Ministries.

Because these testimonies deal with real struggles and spiritual battles, some accounts may be emotionally heavy or mature in nature. We encourage listener discretion.

We believe that every testimony is a declaration of God’s victory—and every story lifts the name of Jesus higher!
