What happens when one of the world’s best-known atheists goes head-to-head with a Christian evangelist on morality, human value and whether atheism can really build a better world?

Matt Dillahunty, host of The Atheist Experience, debates Christian speaker Glen Scrivener in one of Premier Unbelievable’s Big Conversation’s most compelling encounters. Can secular humanism provide a strong enough foundation for morality, dignity and human rights, or is the modern moral imagination still borrowing from Christianity? From the legacy of New Atheism to the problem of human value, the Bible, slavery, Hitler, suffering and the cross, this debate asks whether atheism can deliver a better world or whether Christianity’s story of God becoming weak for the sake of the weak remains essential.
