Carson Campbell thinks a homeless man makes a good target for a prank video. The video gets made. It also gets him in front of a judge, and the sentence is community service at a rescue mission downtown.

He arrives expecting to serve his hours and leave. What he finds instead are people with histories he did not anticipate, a man called Tiny who has no interest in being a lesson for a teenager, and a version of homelessness that does not match anything he assumed. His father, who taught him most of those assumptions, is not pleased by what his son is becoming.

Made in partnership with Mel Trotter Ministries, a Grand Rapids rescue mission serving West Michigan since 1900, with a nod to the man who founded it.

Luke Schroder as Carson, Dean Cain as his father, and Michael James Alexander as Tiny. Directed by Jason Campbell for JC Films.
