In Sumo of the Opera, Apollo Gourd reigns as an unbeatable wrestling champion with his powerful “Belly Ringer” move. When Po‑Ta‑To is injured, the goofy and unreliable Italian Scallion steps in to take his place. Known for never finishing anything, Scallion agrees to train under Mikey, who teaches him the importance of perseverance. Though the training is difficult and he nearly quits, encouragement from his young friend Hadrian inspires him to continue. In the match, Scallion surprises everyone by lasting longer than anyone before. Even without winning, he learns to finish what he starts and fulfills his promise to fix Hadrian’s bike.
