I didn’t grow up in church. I didn’t have Christian friends. I became a cop—and eventually a cold-case detective—believing faith was, at best, a “useful delusion.” 👮♂️❌🙏
In this conversation with Greg Laurie, I share a bit of my backstory:
• Growing up in a broken home in Los Angeles County
• Living anxious in a world that didn’t feel safe
• Why I wanted nothing to do with God or “testimonies”
• How that skeptical, evidence-driven mindset shaped everything
This isn’t the full case for Christianity—just some context for why I started as a committed atheist and skeptic before ever examining the evidence for Jesus. 🕵️♂️📂✝️
