HeartCry missionary Heber Torres is a pastor in Madrid, Spain. He grew up as the son of an evangelical preacher, but it was not until college that he found salvation in Christ alone. After his conversion, Heber’s desire to teach God’s Word grew, and he was sent by his elders to The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles, California. Since October 2021, Heber has been planting a church in Madrid. He shares about the ministry there: “The Lord is good, and He’s allowing us to see a lot of fruit. We are so thankful and glad because of that, but our main concern is that we remain faithful. We want to be loyal to our Lord and Savior. We want to do what He’s expecting us to do. We don’t want any recognition from anybody but Him, which means that we are being obedient. And that’s our main goal.”

HeartCry seeks to advance the Great Commission by supporting missionaries, training missionaries, resourcing missionaries, planting churches, and then declaring God’s great works to God’s people.
