In the land of Uz lived Job, the most righteous man on earth. When Satan, the accuser, challenged God in the court of heaven, Job lost his wealth and all ten of his children in a single day, and then his health. He never cursed God, but when his three friends insisted he must have deserved it, he demanded an answer from God himself.

Watch the full story from the Book of Job, told in 3D animation. It covers the challenge in heaven, the day Job lost everything, the debate with his three friends, God’s answer from the storm, and how Job’s fortunes were restored twice over.

📖 The Book of Job is often called one of the oldest books in the Bible and belongs to its wisdom literature, with Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. The New Testament holds Job up as the example of perseverance (James 5:11), and for thousands of years people have turned to his story with the hardest question of all: why do good people suffer?
