Summary

I grew up with my mom in Brooklyn, New York, after my father passed away. Because my mom couldn’t raise all of us in Brooklyn, she moved us to South Raleigh. Growing up without a father, I struggled with behavior in high school, got into drugs, and often caused trouble at school. Despite the challenges, I reached a turning point when, after a weekend out, I decided to go to church. Even though my friends doubted that church could make a difference, I knew I needed change. I committed myself to the Lord, determined to learn about Jesus and share His saving power. That decision transformed my life—I now serve and reach out to others so they too can experience the change that comes from knowing Jesus.
