“Franklin’s Gloomy Day” – The weather is gloomy and so is Franklin, when there is no one to play with and nothing to do. With Mom and Dad’s encouragement, and his own creative imagination, Franklin learns how to chase away those boredom blues.

“Franklin Tells Time” – Franklin is self-conscious that he has not learned how to tell time the way all of his friends can. When he is unable to find any more excuses for his lateness, Franklin confesses his difficulty to Mr. Owl and is reassured that everyone needs extra help sometimes.
