Summary

My name is Jane, and for many years I led a double life—on one hand, I was the daughter of a faithful minister, but in secret I was battling alcohol addiction, deep loneliness, and despair. My journey took me through repeated cycles of binge drinking, promiscuity, hidden substance abuse, and even a near-fatal moment of contemplating suicide. At one point, I had a stroke that took away the use of my right arm, and I faced severe spinal issues. Despite my struggles, God never gave up on me. Through heartfelt prayer and the loving interventions of friends, family, and dedicated pastors, I experienced miraculous healings in my body—my arm fully recovered, and I avoided life-threatening surgery. God also delivered me from my addiction; I no longer call myself a ‘recovering alcoholic’ because I am now completely set free by Jesus Christ. Even when I fell back into darkness and isolation, His grace pulled me out, reminding me that my life has purpose and that I am loved. Today, I’m sharing this story to give glory to God, to show that He rescues us in our darkest moments, and to encourage anyone struggling that you, too, can find hope, freedom, and wholeness in Jesus.
