When Army lieutenant Margaret Peters (Lacey Chabert) goes missing during a tsunami rescue mission in Japan, her young son Nathan (Ethan Bortnick) is left behind in Detroit — only to discover that his father George (Jonathan Bennett) isn’t his biological dad. Fearing he’ll be taken away by Child Care Services, Nathan runs away before George can explain, and while his father searches frantically, the boy takes to the streets, where he meets a homeless war veteran who becomes an unlikely guardian. Along the way, Nathan’s extraordinary musical gift becomes a source of hope for everyone around him. A heartfelt family drama about faith, resilience, and the belief that — against all odds — anything is possible. Featuring original music co-written and performed by piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick.
