God chose us, so how do we seek Him? 👑

This week, LKIDS steps through the doorway to meet young David the shepherd boy in 1 Samuel 16:1–13. Samuel was ready to anoint the tallest, strongest brother, but God sent him to the one nobody else considered. People judge by what they see; God looks at the heart. Being chosen was never about how David looked, and it’s never been about how we look either. God chose David, and He chose us too. Now it’s our turn to seek Him and know Him.

📖 “For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7b (ESV)

🔑 Big Idea: I can be an LKID after God’s own heart.
