Erin’s life was marked by addiction in her family, loneliness, danger, drugs, violence, and jail. In isolation for 23 hours a day, she felt she had nothing to live for and desperately needed someone to care about her.
God answered through an open door.
Through jail ministry and a tablet slid underneath her door, Erin discovered Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef. As she listened to uncompromising Biblical teaching day after day, she began to understand who God is, how He loved her, and what He was calling her to become.
After her release, God continued opening doors Erin never thought possible—including steady work, Christian encouragement, and a renewed sense of purpose. Today, Erin says she feels “important, needed, and loved.” Her story is a powerful picture of why the Word of God must be shared through every open door available.
