Dr. Claw plots with Dr. Shieskopf to eliminate Gadget with his latest invention, the Linguinis, which are five little men with teeth sharp enough to chew up any material object. Quimby warns Gadget of a suspected MAD plot to make attempts on his life. As a precautionary measure, Gadget locks himself in his house. Disguised as a nurse, the Linguinis gain entry into the house. When Gadget leaves the room, Brain sees the Linguinis shed their disguise and hide and foils their attempts on the Inspector’s life. Later, the Linguinis return to Gadget’s home disguised as babies with Shieskopf dressed as a woman. Once again, they make several unsuccessful attempts on Gadget’s life. Penny appears and activates her mechanical toys which attack the Linguinis and force them to dash off for the last time out into the MAD van. Quimby arrives amazed at Gadget’s ability to survive another MAD attempt. SAFETY TIP: In an emergency you can use ice cream bar sticks as a splint, but for anything serious, always see a doctor.
