I am Shanta Sapkota and I have dedicated my life to rescuing and rehabilitating vulnerable girls from the brutal world of sex trafficking in Nepal and India. I recount the harrowing conditions they face—from severe physical torture in brothels to the devastating psychological scars—and describe how my organization intervenes by providing shelter, counseling, and skills training. My story is not only a testimony of the painful reality of trafficking but also an invitation for support and hope as we fight to restore dignity and life to these young victims.
