Summary

I grew up in a non-Christian home and served in the army, where a severe jolt when I was sent to Vietnam changed my life forever. While hospitalized with wounded soldiers, fear and pain surrounded me until one night a powerful vision stirred my heart. I knelt down in front of my fellow soldiers and asked Jesus to take my life. Immersing myself in the Bible and embracing His love, I experienced a transformation that gave me new hope. Today, living in Connecticut with my family, I continue to overcome the remnants of my past anger, all thanks to the redeeming power of Jesus Christ.

While serving in the army at age 17, Gary got a severe jolt when he received news that he was being sent to Vietnam. He knew that many of the boys who were being sent over were killed or badly wounded. For the first time, Gary started to think quite soberly about his life.

In this time, Gary Fenn gave his heart to God and became a wholehearted Christian. In this interview he tells about his small beginning, and how his hunger and thirst to follow his Lord and Master was satisfied.
