Summary

I’m Elizabeth Kos, a survivor of human trafficking. I share my journey—from a childhood filled with abuse and neglect, through devastating experiences of being trafficked and exploited on the streets, to a miraculous turnaround when God intervened in my darkest moments. I experienced severe trauma, addiction, and legal struggles. When I hit rock bottom, I cried out in desperation and experienced God’s presence. Through incarceration, recovery, and the support of God and community, I began to heal and rebuild my life. Today, I work as a social worker, I’m pursuing higher education in Christian leadership, and I co-founded Redemption House of the Bay Area to help other survivors break free and find hope. My testimony is a call for survivors to speak their truth and for the community to stand united against modern-day slavery.
