Ever notice the word “spirits” on liquor store signs and bottles? It’s not a coincidence. In this episode of Deep Believer, host Jennifer Bagnaschi sits down with Sergio Nazir Chavez for a conversation about spiritual portals, hidden doorways, and the unseen realm — and it goes deeper than most people are ready for.

In Why Liquor Is Called “Spirits” — A Pastor Explains, Sergio breaks down what spiritual portals actually are, how doors get opened in our lives through everyday thoughts, emotions, and choices, and how to shut the ones that should never have been opened. He shares what he witnessed growing up around deliverance ministry — levitation, demonic manifestation, things he says he saw with his own eyes as a child — and explains why some encounters are real and others are dangerous counterfeits.

This is the full Sergio Nazir Chavez interview on Deep Believer: why deliverance sometimes doesn’t last, how to discern a true encounter from a false one, how alcohol and substances become open doors, why isolation is one of the enemy’s favorite tactics, and how prayer and worship open doors to something far greater. Watch all the way to the end — Sergio prays over everyone listening.
