Summary
SummaryEver since I could speak, I heard melodies in my heart and began singing 🎶. My parents saw my gift and gave me a microphone as a little girl—God planted that passion early! But in college, I drifted: toxic relationships, parties, and alcohol became my focus, and I lost my voice both literally and spiritually. One evening, after singing tipsy at church, my choir director warned me I was “lost.” His words pierced my heart, and I finally cried out to God 🙏. As I grounded myself in prayer and Scripture, I realized I’d been asking God to bless my will rather than seeking His will. When I truly put Him first—”seek ye first the kingdom”—my voice returned. Now I serve as a prison worship leader, using my restored gift to glorify Him. If you’re struggling, run to His presence, lock yourself in prayer, and watch Him restore your voice and your life! 🌟
Ever since I was a child, I loved to sing. I would eventually become a praise and worship leader in my church, where this passion would be displayed before the congregants each Sunday. I also used my passion for singing on the job as a teacher. There came a time in my life where my devotion to the Lord shifted and I started to recognize how it affected my ability to sing. This is my story.
