What happens when we take God’s promise into our own hands? 🗺️ This week’s front porch story comes from Numbers 13–14. Twelve spies checked out the Promised Land, but ten of them doubted God and talked everyone into fear instead of trust. When God told the people to wait, some of them tried to take the land on their own anyway, and it went badly. Taking matters into our own hands doesn’t speed up God’s promise; it gets in the way of it.
